Last day in Hoi An today. It rained the whole day today and rain is predicted for the whole week. We were lucky with the weather these past few days. It was a day for packing up and getting ready to fly to Saigon.
Kids and I enjoyed a massage before we headed out. Aanya was not happy with her 30 minutes and would prefer an hour long massage from here onwards.
On the way to Danang airport we saw glimpses of the famous Dragon bridge. There are a few places in Da Nang that I would have loved to have visited, that’s my FOMO kicking in (Marble mountain, golden hands bridge, Asia park) but also happy that we all got to relax and recuperate.
When we landed in Ho Chi Minh I got a message saying our booking for the apartment has been cancelled and here I am stranded in the airport with 2 tired kids. Initial panic mode mixed with anger but luckily managed to find another apartment and book it. It was quite a stressful finish to the day, the effects of the relaxing massage just evaporated in a whisker. Hoping for a not so stressful day tomorrow.
