Very much a catch up on admin kind of morning then headed to the airport. Chiang Mai airport lounge has been the best so far , great cocktails, panacotta and they provide massages !
We went on a pretty small plane , was pretty cool to see the Mekong River from up above .
After the hustle bustle of Chiang Mai , Luang Prabang seems slow and relaxed . We ran in to some trouble in the evening with having no cash, no ATMs having cash ( later found out that given Sunday night they had run out ) and none of the restaurants we tried able to take a card ! Kids started panicking slightly but we managed to get dinner with Thai Bhat and then found an obscure ATM with some cash. Celebrated with Ice cream rolls ( a new way to eat ice cream ).
