Jeevan and I have been to Vietnam before and this year we are trying to not go to places we have visited . The reason we are back in Vietnam is because 10 years ago we had come to Hanoi and had prayed for children at the One Pillar Pagoda , a month later we were pregnant with Savik . It was important for us to come back and give our thanks.
We made our way there to give our respects , thanks and prayers .
The rest of the day was spent exploring old quarters and walking around the lake . We also had a drink in the train lane . Basically you get to sit super close to a train as it whizzes by. I was questioning this decision when I come from India and you can do this quite easily plus it was pouring rain so we got a lot of mud splattered on us. The kids loved it so guess it was fun .
What a beautiful reason to come back. I also love the matching puffers!
