Hanoi - Day 3

 My father is unwell so the morning was spent sorting out plans to go to India and all the heartache that came with the news .

To distract ourselves we went to the Hanoi water puppet show . I am glad we got the audio guide as we got so much more out of it as we understood what was happening ( I would never have guessed one of the creatures was a unicorn ). It was quite cleverly done , they had dragons with sparklers in their mouth ( breathing out fire) and foxes running up poles stealing ducks .

Spent our evening at the hotel’s Skybar, looking around a lot of hotels have their rooftops converted to bars . This was Aanya’s wish , she had no interest in the food just to have a drink at the rooftop . We can for see her clubbing days ahead .
