Using the clear day we headed to the forest park at the end of town and walking a million steps (it definitely felt like that) to see all of it. Every time the children thought we reached the summit we had to tell them there was more. It was quite picturesque throughout and there was even a play area for children. We met a couple from California who spend their summers sailing in Europe, they had some interesting stories.
After exploring the churches built into the rock faces of the cliffs we used some goat trails to make our way to the beach.
The beach was so so pretty but so rocky!! You definitely need water shoes to enjoy the water or even the beach. As per Savik there aren’t enough parrot fish here to make the rocks into sand.
On heading back to town we had one of the most laugher filled meals we have had recently. All of us were in the best mood and this continued on as we walked through old town watching a parade and the kids getting to buy lollies from the gigantic lolly store.
Tired but happy with our day.
