Our last day in town was spent lazing around during the day and catching up with school work.
It was good we did that as the walk up Mount Srd was harder due to the heat. The switchbacks seemed never ending but did make the hilly bits much easier. The views and sunset from the top were worth it. There were lots of people up there too and when the sun set they started clapping, like the end of a good show, it was quite spectacular. The planes and ships with their ripples and contrails added to the beauty.
We headed down soon after and it was so much quicker and easier. Had dinner in our balcony watching the boats come in for the night while the closing ceremony for the olympics played in the background.
It has been wonderful three days and I would happily come here for another holiday.
