Today started with a relaxing morning and then quite a bit of driving. We moved on to Slovenia and arrived in Lake Bled in the afternoon.
The drive through Slovenia was beautiful, with green mountains and some bare-faced ones too. There were lots of apple trees along the way. We took an apple that had fallen on the ground—sour and crunchy—perfect for our apple lover, Aanya.
Bled has a very alpine feel and a gorgeous lake in the middle. We ended up walking all around the lake. The children were very excited to see obstacle courses in the water, trampoline parks, and an adventure zone, so we made plans for the next few days to fit it all in.
It’s so pretty here, with lots to keep us occupied.
