Kravica waterfall

A good start to the day with a family run to the Partition Memorial, made for the World War 1 heroes.

Packed, left Mostar and went to Kravica waterfalls. We were prepared in our swimwear and after admiring the beauty of the waterfall from afar we jumped in and swam closer. It’s a semi circle of waterfalls with a pool of water in the middle. With the heat of the day the water was a perfect way to cool down. I didn’t realise how far the rope actually was so the swim was quite tiring for me. When I managed to get Savik to get over his fear of fish he swam it so easily!! The best bit was when both the children were at the deep end together (Aanya had gone using a shorter route) they had a chat and swam back together. In moments when they support each other it makes me so happy.

We had delicious pizza before saying goodbye to Bosnia-Herzegovina and back to Croatia.

We reached Split by the evening and did a stroll through the old town and the water. They have solar panel benches with usb charging stations along the water, great use of all the sunshine. We had passed one of the biggest solar farms I have ever seen along the way.

The old town is filled with tourists and so many gelato shops, easy to keep the children happy.
