Today was a day of sleeping and life admin .
At the airport had a long chat to a very well travelled Indian family. They were chatterboxes just like me so we had a good time while waiting in the line. At Bishkek you have to put your luggage so so many times through screening. The lounge was bit of a disappointment, I guess we should be happy there is one.
Tashkent airport made me realise how children are generally so much happier with the world . The immigration cue I was in was the slowest but when we got in the front Savik pressed the - he was great- button for feedback and said he was awesome ! I was so surprised as I would definitely not have said that . That made the officer so happy and it made me smile too . Little joys of life .
We saw the good and bad of Tashkent . We had a stranger help us outside the airport as we were trying to navigate the language while the taxi drivers harassed and tried to block the view of the car we had coming from Yandex ( Uber equivalent).
The city seems quite grand at night with all the shiny lights . Savik was like oh no, lots to
explore that means !
