Early morning start to get to Tanzania. Border crossing was easy while we got to know our guide (Griffin), driver (Francis) and chef (Esther).
We reached Arusha where we spent the little bit of the day left running, swimming and playing games. While running we went in the streets outside our lodge and we had kids fist pumping us and cheering us on, our very own cheer squad.
Our lodge is popular with Mt.Kilimanjaro climbers and we met heaps of them, one returning from last year where he celebrated his 60th birthday.
Would love to do the climb one day, hopefully with the kids once they are older.
