Mombasa

 

 18th to 23rd

We spent 5 days in Mombasa at a beach resort. It was just what we needed after a busy safari tour.

5 days of good food, beautiful beach weather, water park, lazing around, good workouts at the gym and relaxing spa time.

The family foosball games, nightly entertainment which ended with all of us dancing and the kids club had all of us happy.

We head back to England today and have been lucky to not have our holiday affected by the riots taking part in the country.

We came to Kenya and Tanzania with the hope of seeing a lion as we hadn’t spotted one last time. We saw so many lions and in all ways that we could have imagined - hunting, lying with their prey, roaming with their pride, frolicking with their cubs, mating and bachelors hanging out together. We were truly lion blessed! The children couldn’t have had a better time in East Africa.
