Wonderful to have a day where literally nothing was on the plan.
Sleep in and then 10kg of laundry sent off, such dusty dirty clothes.
We headed for a walk in the afternoon to the city centre. We got stopped by a policeman as we took photos of the Kenyan Broadcasting cooperation, it’s a government building. I wasn’t sure if he was kidding or not as he was also trying to talk in Hindi to me and smiling but then also said we could go to jail. Anyway photo deleted, danger diverted and we got on our way.
We didn’t get very far before we hit the markets where time flew as we browsed and shopped for necklaces, earrings, wristbands and more for gifts and us.
The evening was spent meeting our new tour leader, no new people joining our little group of 8.
