Island hopping and snorkelling was the agenda for the day .
We booked in a full day of a guided snorkelling tour which worked out well as it was the four of us and an instructor. Thanks to the one on one time he was bombarded with questions from the kids , mainly pertaining to what can eat them in the ocean!
The kids have become so confident in the water and were able to enjoy all three sessions . Had a little hiccup with Aanya’s flipper but once that was sorted she was swimming along just fine . The coral is quite bleached so not as colourful as the Great Barrier Reef. There are patches that have some colour so maybe it will come back . We just missed out on seeing a turtle , it swam away before we got there but saw heaps of different fish and a sting ray .
Very frinkled by the time we got back on the boat to head back . The houses/ shops along the river are so colourful and pretty , did not manage to get a photo to capture it .
Quick stop at the markets for fruit and then we were done for the day .
