Christmas in Penang

 Merry Christmas!!

As usual woken up by very pumped up kids, jumping and screaming. This year we don’t have a Christmas tree so the gifts are hidden around the apartment with riddles provided as clues . 

Santa has left them a letter and lollies . They are pretty happy with the gifts they have received as are the adults .

Today was a yes day for the kids and we let them plan it out. They wanted to spend a chunk of it at home and just rest . 

We went out for a movie - Migration , it represented the 2 children in our family quite well ( and parts of the parents too ). Had a lovely lunch with too much dessert before heading back to spend the rest of the day relaxing . I got vetoed when I suggested a walk . 

We are staying in Beacon Suites and the views are amazing both from the apartment and the gym / pool on the rooftop . We even saw fireworks at night to add to the magic of Christmas.

Aanya went to bed stating she is just so happy inside . So it was a very very good Christmas.
