Kandalama

 

 Today was a day of relaxation and enjoying all that Kandalama hotel had to offer .

We played badminton , Jeevan and I really enjoyed it, brought back good childhood memories . Hoping we actually continue to play when we get back home . Games continued with table tennis and carrom. I think the highlight for the children was being able to use the gym . As no one else was there they had free rein of a very well stocked spot . They now want a treadmill !!

Rest of the day was spent in the pools, there are three pools in the different wings so a good workout just walking from one end to the other . There was also a snake sighting thrown in between . At the infinity pool I asked the pool attendant to take some photos of the family which he then turned into a photo shoot with some “magic “ photos thrown in ( panoramic view where you are on both sides ). 

In the evening the children were very secretive about the cards they are making for our anniversary, excited to see them tomorrow.
