Aanya’s Birthday

The day that has been planned for the last month has arrived . One very very excited and happy girl woke up this morning . Aanya is eight .  

We had decorated with balloons, pink and purple filled the room. The best part about Aanya’s birthday is how happy she is with everything on the day. She loved all her presents and then when her uncle arrived ( Anshu mama) she got to cut her cake . I am surprised at how easy it was to find and get a cake here . WhatsApp discussion with photos and the cake arrived 24 hours later , fulfilling Aanya’s wish of a Barbie, butterfly cake. It was one of the most delicious chocolate cakes I have eaten . As per Aanya it’s one of her best birthday cakes ( a little insulting to me given I have made all her other cakes 😂😂) .

We then headed out for the day , first stop a haircut. Rather than the haircut it is the styling that she wanted . Straight hair for the day . She had pizza and kulfi planned for lunch but was too excited to eat much . A few more presents and then we headed to KidZania .

KidZania is an indoor themed park where children get to try a hand at different jobs , earn and spend money . Aanya started off the dance academy where she got to learn a dance and then perform it on stage . Savik did the same with magic tricks . They then did pet rescues, DHL , a liver transplant and a lot more . Adults are not allowed inside the rooms so we sat out and watched them . Had some good laughs following them on the fire truck when they were shouting Fire Rescue . 

We then headed for dinner and to spend time with my father and brothers . 

She went to bed so happy so the day was a success .

Her celebration started yesterday by going to play land and watching Wonka and continues with going to Taj Mahal tomorrow.
