Family time

First week of February was spent braving the cold and enjoying family time.

The kids were so excited to see their cousins, as they said they have been with no other kids for too long! Luckily they are all similar in age and get along very well.  Even the lack of Hindi didn’t stop them from playing with all the kids around the apartment, gully cricket for the first time for Savik. He got very muddy and loved it ( me not so much ). 

My father is doing well on the whole, we will get to know how he responds to the treatment in a month, so we are all hoping and praying for the best.

The kids got colds on the third day, so we stayed away and went for a movie instead - Next Goal wins, Savik was rolling around with laughter ( it’s the best sound). We then went to a supermarket and realised at the checkout why Blinkit is so much better, 1 hour to buy 5 things. We did choose a terrible time I think with it being Sunday evening and all families doing their major shopping for the week but will be sticking to Blinkit from here onwards.

On the last day with the cousins we took all the kids to another movie - the cinema hall was the best , colourful with bean bags and a slide to keep them entertained during the intermission. Their aunt bought them the biggest bag of lollies as we were saying goodbye, I feel my kids might want to change families !!
