After a sleep in we went in search for food in the city. Started off at the city centre and the Americana theatre. The psychedelic tiles on the floor are the same as the ones in Copacabana and Lisbon.
After some Açai we found an amazing lunch spot. Good views of the theatre and some of the best food we have eaten in Brazil, cannot beat well cooked local fish and prawns.
We spent the afternoon walking around town, felt very much like the small towns of South America as we remembered them from 13 years ago.
The evening was spent in the pool back at our hotel and kids tuning in to their lessons. Excited to head out to the Amazon tomorrow.
